OK, I have a bit more info: I've noticed that this problem seems to increase, the weaker the signal is with the AP or Router. When the signal level drops below 25/65 (as reported by iwconfig) on occasson I have to ifdown & ifup or rmmod and modprobe the driver to get my connection back.
This maybe a bit of a red-herring, but in my case worth mentioning. I don't know if the version of driver supplied within the kernel in Gutsy is an improvement or not. Will wait for the dust to settle before upgrading to Gutsy. -- wireless stops working until reboot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/132042 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
