What happened:
1) Open a GNOME Shell session
2) Use the top right status indicator and select the shutdown button
3) Try to click on one of the buttons
4) Notice that the first click does not affect the button state, you have to
click twice
What I expected to happen:
At step #3 for the button to be clicked on first press.
Also notice that the Esc key does not function until you click once somewhere
on the screen.
