Public bug reported:

Impact
------
This is a new bugfix release in the stable 3.24 series. It adds a new feature
to allow app launchers in the Applications menu to be dragged and dropped on to
the Desktop. (This was a GNOME 2 feature and these extensions are meant to
emulate GNOME 2).

Test Case
---------
1. Install the update. Log out then log back in.
Open Tweak Tool. Switch to the Extensions tab and turn on the Applications menu
extension.
Switch to the Desktop tab and turn on Icons on Desktop.
Open the Applications menu. Drag an app launcher to the desktop.

2. Launch a few apps from the Applications menu.

3. Log out and log in to GNOME Classic to make sure that it seems to
still work ok.

Regression Potential
--------------------
The only extension that should have changed here in the Applications menu, so
as long as that still works, this update should not introduce any problems.

** Affects: gnome-shell-extensions (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Low
         Status: In Progress
