I was about to submit a new bug then I've found this. Thanks Timo for your clarification, but the problem is that this is not intuitive and still, a quite large number of community packages have their dependencies declared using the standard packages. The HWE update model is great, but having renamed packages is a PITA. What do you think about using an additional package repository for HWE instead of renamed packages?
