wine32:i386 1.8.7-1ubuntu1 "The list of installed files is only available for installed packages" I couldn't see the package in /var/apt/cache/archives (although it turns out it was there), and I told Synaptic to re-install, but with "Download package files only". Synaptic shows that the size to be downloaded was "0 B", and apply does not result in the download/install windows. When I finally saw: "wine32_1.8.7-1ubuntu1_i386.deb", it was not 0B, but "171.4 kB (171,434 bytes)", so I don't know what is up with this package...
