Hi Jonny, that's really surprising. If you're not using snaps, I believe that the easiest way forward is to uninstall snapd:
sudo apt-get purge snapd It's hard for me to guess if this will work with your current state. If this fails try something like: sudo dpkg --reconfigure -a sudo apt-get install -f sudo apt-get purge snapd That sequence of steps is usually good to unlodge apt when it's unhappy.
