Public bug reported:

AT the end of my boot process (rc.local) I have a command that does
this:

#!/bin/bash

logger -t fixbttv Applying BTTV fixes

v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setattr 'combfilter' on
v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setattr 'agc crush' off
v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setattr 'full luma range' on
v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setattr 'whitecrush upper' 255
v4lctl -c /dev/video0 setattr 'whitecrush lower' 0

As it turns out, the last line in the log before the hard freeze (not panic) is
Applying BTTV fixes

Recently updated to gutsy release.
