Binary package hint: gnome-panel
i upgraded to gutsy yesterday and found that the workplace switcher with
compiz fusion was very buggy. I opened a different bug about this here
also. It seems as though everyone that is having this problem, did an
upgrade and not a fresh install. So, I figured why not download and burn
a cd, then run ubuntu off the cd to see if this problem still exists. I
downloaded gutsy from united states sourcemirros.org and burned it. I
then restarted the system, booted from cd, and selected start or install
ubuntu from the cd. Then, a big error message came up saying the cd was
not bootable. This is very frustrating. I guess ill download again from
another mirror and waste another cd. How disappointing.
