Public bug reported:

Ubuntu 7.10,

Works normally but:

* Add/Remove Apps won't work properly: every time I check a program to install
(eg: eclipse or Tux Paint) I have this message:
"the list of application is not available: click to 'Reload' to load it. To
load it you need internet connection"
+ there is no 'Reload' button but 'Refresh'

I click on 'Refresh' button and the list is loaded (every time 6 files)
+the problem: when I check the program again I have the same message !!!

I repeat this actions many time but without success

I try to use the synaptic package manager but I fond only packages available
from CD.
I'm confused!! because with other Ubuntu version it download automatically from
internet all the list !!!
I search for rpm package for example but there is no result !!

Until now, all application work great (except installation of some plugin in
firefox: this bug is reported)
and I hope this problem will be resolved soon.

** Affects: ubuntu
     Importance: Undecided
