Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: update-manager
On a new install of Kubuntu 7.10 (not pre-release or beta), after
opening the update-manager and doing a "fetch updates" the "Version
upgrade" button appears. After selecting the "version upgrade" button
the Distribution Upgrade dialog box comes up and starts to do an
upgrade. When it gets to the "Modifying the Software channels" an error
box pops up saying "Your System is up-to-date There are no upgrades
available for your system. The upgrade will now be canceled." At which
time it enables the "Report Bug" option.
** Affects: update-manager (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecided
Status: New
