While looking into bug #1689737 I found this report. I wonder where wine1.4 was coming from, because it is not part of Ubuntu 16.10 and should have been transitioned away from in 16.04.
For more info see https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine/+bug/1689737/comments/2. So I'm unsure if this report is "invalid" or if we need to handle this in the packages. The transition to the new packages is ongoing till 18.04 and should provide the best experience then. ** Changed in: wine1.4 (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1645736 Title: package wine1.4-amd64 (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: trying to overwrite '/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/wine/mcicda.dll.so', which is also in package libwine:amd64 1.8.5-1ubuntu1 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/wine1.4/+bug/1645736/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
