The purpose of this testing is to see if this bug is specific to Ubuntu.
Your testing shows that the bug does not exist in mainline. Many bug
fixes are cc'd to the upstream stable kernels, which 4.10.14 is the
latest for 4.10.
The Ubuntu -proposed kernel now has the upstream stable 4.10.11 updates.
This is the reason I asked to test it. If it is good, I would next ask
you to test the Zesty -proposed kernel. If the Zesty -proposed kernel
is bad, that means the bug is Ubuntu specific.
