I'm now using only Linux Mint and I don't quite understand what version of gedit I'm supposed to have.
Synaptic says latest and installed version is gedit_2.30.5+qiana. Linux Mint website says: Qiana (3.10.4-0ubuntu4) https://community.linuxmint.com/software/view/gedit And gedit says: gedit - Version 2.30.4 So, in short the version numbering is so fucked up, it is impossible to say what I have installed from the repo. What comes to the bug, it is now different; gedit freezes when opening that file. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1025528 Title: Gedit displays garbled overlaid text on long line text file To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gedit/+bug/1025528/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
