Binary package hint: xchat-gnome
I'm experiencing frequent problems with xchat not redrawing the display
when the window is exposed. This seems to affect only the pane with
discussion in it (the channel list is unaffected) and can be cleared by
switching channel. It only seems to manifest when the window which was
hidden was another xchat window (for example, the preferences dialog).
