Public bug reported:
Using my Laptop running Ubuntu 16.04 LTS as my local machine. I ssh into
a remote machine to run a Java application, to be displayed on my
laptop. In this instance, I am running NetLogo 5.3.1. However, I have
seen this behavior with other Java-based applications.
Some of the menu items do not have their text labels displayed.
The attached image shows the bug on the left, and the expected display
on the right.
