Before upgrading from 14.04 to 16.04 I should have remembered I lost some hours tweaking my system to make it usable not just like a tablet toy. Among those tweaks there was the complete replacement of nautilus by nemo (or something like this)
After upgrading to 16.04, the compress contextual menu is gone from nemo. Reinstalling nemo-file-roller didn't fix the problem. So right now I'm left with two non working file browser : nautilus with no 2nd panel and nemo with no compress menu. I guess tweaking the nemo actions will return my compress action but question still remains : why the hell was the 2nd panel removed from nautilus ?
