Public bug reported:

GtkTerm always ends up presenting the first port (/dev/ttyS0 for me) and
the minimum port baud rate (9600) when you enter to the Configuration >
Port menu.  The Parity, Bits, Stopbits and Flow control settings are
retained from the current setting.  I feel it would be more intuitive if
either all the port settings were retained or if the default
configuration was loaded every time.

This frequently causes me to set /dev/ttyS0 at a speed of 9600 when I
wanted to make a small adjustment for the port I was already using at
the speed I was using it at.
