Could you please just check which Distribution, Release #, and the
Package version number you are using?
Because in Ubuntu 16.04 we have blktrace_1.1.0-2 with following patches:

dpkg-source: info: applying ffmpeg2avconv.patch
dpkg-source: info: applying man.patch
dpkg-source: info: applying pdf-date.patch
dpkg-source: info: applying procnum.patch
