Public bug reported:

I upgraded my system from Feisty to Gutsy .
My NTFS partition which would automatically mount earlier don't mount any more.
I tried to manually mount it.
----------------------------------------------------
sudo mount /dev/sda1 /media/
mount: according to mtab, /dev/sda1 is already mounted on /media

FUSE mount point creation failed
Unmounting /dev/sda1 ()

Here is my /etc/mtab

I posted this as a query on ntfs-3g forum :
http://forum.ntfs-3g.org/viewtopic.php?p=1574&sid=e2c543482c542f7fe83e616cc0c6f2c0

The Lead Developer there mentioned its not a bug with their tool but
