Graphical desktops are not supported for z, so it is a bit futile
process to install them.

Ditto, I'm not sure you will get any benefit from Mythbuntu installation
as it is usually used to connect to the satelite TV tuners to record
programmes and view them on the TV. Somehow I do not think mainframes
belong in the living room next to the TV.

As to the installation, the system has run out of memory to complete the
install.

May 23 14:08:34 kernel: [ 1753.074145] Out of memory: Kill process 9710
(apt-get) score 9 or sacrifice child
May 23 14:08:34 kernel: [ 1753.074147] Killed process 15513 (apt-get)
total-vm:50220kB, anon-rss:15548kB, file-rss:0kB

And oom killed apt-get and thus failing the install.

It is best to do minimally required / server installations and install
subsequent packages after the system reboots. As that will provide you
with greater flexibility to debug and notice the usual linux error
paths, e.g. running out of memory.
