Public bug reported:

Every year a new Ubuntu version, every year the same annoying procedure:

I'm installing Gnome Ubuntu on sdb:
- the installer informs me that it failed to write the Grub boot loader to sda
(why is it even trying there?)
- I'm choosing sdb as location to write the boot loader to
- the installer informs me that it failed to write the Grub boot loader to sdb

I have to exit the installer and take care of Grub by myself :/.
