restart:

Usually the mysql error log contains useful information, but since you
upgraded on 28th May but reported now the log already rotated and the
one that was autoattached has not the infor that would be needed.
Please check out /var/log/mysql/error.log (and its .gz archives). You
should find the issue that happened on the restart in there. If you
can't find it please provide the log around the upgrade time here.
