>From the log: update-alternatives: errore: l'alternativa pg_basebackup.1.gz non può essere slave di psql.1.gz: è slave di postmaster.1.gz
my italian is bad, but it seems to be that the file is owned by multiple packages. I tried to upgrade in a container and it worked. Could you run: dpkg -S pg_basebackup.1.gz psql.1.gz postmaster.1.gz Is any of the packages that lists you form a ppa or any other 3rd party source that would explain why it doesn't work for you? Also related you could report: update-alternatives --get-selections In there look for the names above. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1696148 Title: package postgresql-client-9.3 9.3.17-0ubuntu0.14.04 failed to install/upgrade: il sottoprocesso installato script di post- installation ha restituito lo stato di errore 2 - during upgrade from 12LTS to 14LTS To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/postgresql-9.3/+bug/1696148/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
