Hi,
I realized that since pollinate internally uses curl it has proxy support in
general based on the common environment like http_proxy and others.
Also it sources /etc/default/pollinate by default, so yeah it might be
an issue that it doesn't pick up /etc/environment, but via
/etc/default/pollinate you should be able to.
Could you try if this works for you - if so the remaining issue is
rather small IMHO.
