Upstream kernel test - kernel 4.12-rc2 – rc5
Test results differ from rc1:
no "boot finished" sound, no remote login (ssh).
Reboot/shutdown by SysRQ keys after about 3 minutes possible.
Upstream kernels were installed on an updated Ubuntu installation.
For comparison, I installed rc5 on an Ubuntu installation, which was updated 8
weeks ago (2017-04-17) .
The test result was just like that of rc1 ("boot finished" sound after 45 sec.).
