Binary package hint: update-manager
The upgrade changed the X configuration to use the 'i810' driver rather
than the 'intel' driver i used before, with the result that X failed to
start.
The xserver-xorg-video-i810 package wasn't installed. installing it
might have made it possible to start X, but at least with Feisty I had
to use the 'intel' driver to get support for the 1920x1200 resolution,
which matches my screen.
