I'm seeing a regression on this bug, as of 14 June 2017. If it's curtin- common on the MAAS server that's relevant, here's the version information:
$ dpkg -s curtin-common | grep Version Version: 0.1.0~bzr470-0ubuntu1~16.04.1 The suggestion of creating the GRUB/Ubuntu entry but putting it lower in the boot list than the PXE-boot option sounds fine to me, with the caveat that some EFIs do pretty weird (buggy) things, so I suspect that SOME systems will break. There's no way of knowing how common such problems will be, or indeed if any really WILL break, without trying that suggested fix. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1642298 Title: UEFI Xenial install sets computer to boot from hard disk To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/curtin/+bug/1642298/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
