Public bug reported:
Has anyone come up with a solution as to why when you boot to the live
Gutsy release CD that sometimes (does not appear to happen everytime)
that when you go past the section in the boot where the sound theme is
played and then you should get to having the desktop displayed that
instead you get just a blank screen ???
But if you hit any key (for instance I can hit the ESC key) and the
desktop display comes back active ?

P. S. - It seems that this blank screen syndrome occurs only when doing
a cold boot of the machine to the Gutsy CD.
If the machine is warm booted / restarted to the CD, the blank screen
does NOT occur.
