Public bug reported:

Repro steps:

1. Boot gutsy LiveCD
2. Try to play examples / saxophone.ogg or whatever
3. No sound plays

In Windows Vista my soundcard is identified as "Realtek High Definition Audio".
Currently when I run alsamixer the top left labels say "Card: HDA Intel" and
"Chip: Realtek ID 268".

I have had sound working previously on this exact machine using a pre-
release gutsy version and some manually configuration. When the sound
was working the top left alsamixer fields says "HDA Intel" and "Chip:
Realtek ALC268".

So there is clearly a driver codec thing for my chip but the problem is
that Ubuntu doesn't ship it by default?
