OK this is a bug that i find really anoying since i love usplash/bootup
splash.
kubuntu gutsy, the monitor turns off instead of the bootup splash. then
it will turn back on with KDM login screen and everything works fine
after that. I know that turning off bootup splash and have a bunch of
kernel text coming up on you're screen or a blank one is a solution, but
i don't like that solution , i'd like to have a nice boot up splash. if
somebody have a solution, please tell me i apriciate.
