This is interesting. I'm not seeing this in Debian's build logs at all,
which makes it an Ubuntu-specific problem...
Do you think it would be best for me to maintain a delta removing these
symbols, or talk to the Debian maintainer about the issue and resolve it
up there?
Either way, I broke it, so I should fix it, LocutusOfBorg. :P
