Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: openoffice.org

if the default save is set to flat-xml (*.fodt) files, files are saved
in this format, but when opening them, they open as xml text, not as
structured documents. (they open as structured documents when the fodt
file type is selected in the open dialog (which is painful, given the
small scroll area and the large number of file types!)).

it would be best if fodt would be recognized and automatically openedn
as document. is there a way this can be achieved with a command line
switch?

thank you!

andrew
