You were prompted about filing this bug because you appear to have
installed the bcmwl-kernel-source package without going through the
process of disabling SecureBoot on your system. Third-party out-of-tree
modules are not currently compatible with SecureBoot, and you must
follow the prompts to disable SecureBoot in order to use this bcmwl
module.
It looks like you then also encountered bug #1679784, which would be
fixed by applying updates to your system to get the new version of
software-properties-gtk which fixes it.
