Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: gnome-terminal
I was downloading and installing kubuntu KDE desktop (sudo aptitude
update && dudo aptitude kubuntu-desktop) The download went well and I
could see that it did apply to Ubuntu 7-10. During installation and
configuration it accepted my choice of GNU or KDE with a "red" OK, but
would not allow me to select the email service. I do not use Evolution
or any email service on the machine that I run Ubuntu on. Which of
course is different from the machine I am answering this part of my
response on.
I am fairly new to Ubuntu and of course Linux.
Thank you.
Jim

Downloaded kububtu-desktop. During installation I was unable to continue after
Extracting templates from package. It allowed me to select GNU or KDE but hung
up at selecting the email. I do not use email on the machine I use Ubuntu on.
