Public bug reported: Binary package hint: update-inetd
I was running hotwayd with "netkit-inetd" before, but now the "xinetd" package seems to be the default for Gutsy Gibbon. The "update-inetd" installs the hotwayd service for a normal inetd configuration, but not for xinetd. Perhaps a file for the /etc/xinetd.d folder could be provided. The file for the /etc/xinetd.d folder could be something like this, but I am not sure: http://www.archlinux.org/pipermail/tur-users/2005-January/000609.html kind regards. ** Affects: update-inetd (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Summary changed: - Gutsy Gibbin: update-inetd, xinetd, hotway mismatch + Gutsy Gibbon: update-inetd, xinetd, hotway mismatch ** Description changed: Binary package hint: update-inetd I was running hotwayd with "netkit-inetd" before, but now the "xinetd" package seems to be the default for Gutsy Gibbon.
