Public bug reported:
I managed to set up a persistent USB stick in accordance with
instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/LiveUsbPendrivePersistent and
elsewhere. It boots on my Toshiba Libretto U105 but will not get past
the "initrd ........................" screen on a Lenovo T60.
I have no idea how to troubleshoot this, but I guess you might still
want to know. Feel free to ask for logs etc, I just don't know what
would help.
