Public bug reported:

(This is an enhancement request. I don't know if this is the appropriate
place for it or not, please let me know if I should raise this
elsewhere.)

Choosing the "session" icon from the cinnamon menu opens a dialog box offering
the choices:
- Suspend
- Restart
- Cancel
- Shutdown

If you miss the Suspend button and click on Restart, the system restarts
with no warning or chance to abort. There should either be a
confirmation dialog on choosing Restart, or the Suspend option should be
physically separated from the other options somehow. (Suspend is
fundamentally different, as it doesn't destroy any work, whereas Restart
and Shutdown do.)

I am running Ubuntu 16.04 with cinnamon 3.4.3-1~xenial0:

$ apt-cache policy cinnamon
cinnamon:
  Installed: 3.4.3-1~xenial0
  Candidate: 3.4.3-1~xenial0
