Public bug reported:
trying to switch to tty (CTRL+ALT+F**) i only get blank screens (out of range).
It's not related to #48901 because i have no vga=xxx option in my grub
menu.list. This problem only appears with nvidia driver, nv works without
problems. i think the terminal works (i can access them by keyboard) but i have
no screenoutput.
