Thank you, Phillip. I realized what you tell me, since I tried the install procedure with a dvd, instead of a usb pen-drive. For some strange reason, the caveats I was offered with the dvd installation disk (burned with the same iso download), where much more comprehensive and suggesting than with the usb installation.
All in all, it worked perfectly. Thanks for your answer, anyways.
