Agreed, the media has pushed the narrative, but I think conference
realignment has created this idea of conference tribalism. It seems
weird to me, because growing up in the 80s and early 90s it just
wasn't like that. You had your team, and you had your rivals, and
you always wanted your rivals to lose. Maybe I'm getting old(get
off my lawn!!), or maybe I'm seeing things through rose colored
glasses, or maybe, just possibly, I drank too much tonight.
