I could solve the problem on CentOS:
make a backup of the file
/usr/lib64/ADM_glade/main/gtk2_build.gtkBuilder
edit /usr/lib64/ADM_glade/main/gtk2_build.gtkBuilder, remove these lines
in sections "<object class="GtkGrid" :
<property name="n_columns">2</property>
<property name="n_rows">2</property>
I had to remove 3 lines, afterwards I could start avidemux3_gtk
The path to the file gtk2_build.gtkBuilder may be different for you,
just type "dpkg -l avidemux3_gtk" to find the right file on your system.
But I do not really like the new version. Some functionality got lost.
