Public bug reported:
Slime is in multiverse, despite consisting entirely of GPL-compatible
licenses. I assume this is because of the one-off "Lisp Lesser GNU
Public License". This is a modification (through a preamble...) of LGPL
2.1 to be specific to Lisp. It appears to weaken the LGPL copyleft in
some ways and make it stricter in others. However, it doesn't revoke
section 3 of the LGPL, which says "You may opt to apply the terms of the
ordinary GNU General Public License instead of this License to a given
copy of the Library." Thus, I believe any LLGPL code can be converted
to GPL code, making LLGPL free, and suitable for Ubuntu universe.
