Yes, I always tried to add each instance of this `nautilus` bug to previous bug reports for the same bug. I wasn't always able to find them, though.
You might well be right. It's more than a year since I last did a fresh installation of the OS, and in fact, it has received a version upgrade in that time, which in my experience, consistently breaks bits of the system. At least this time, the computer still booted OK after the upgrade, which is a first for me. Due to the current level of accumulated quirks and errors, I am now reaching the point where it is becoming so inconvenient to persist with my current installation that I'll do a fresh installation as soon as I get the opportunity for the week or so that's required to configure the fresh installation again. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1705864 Title: Nautilus no longer starts (again) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/1705864/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
