Thanks for taking your time to report this issue and help making Ubuntu better.
Based on the error message it looks like two packages, mgba-common and mgba-qt are conflicting with each other because both contain the same file. When I look on the filelist at [1] and [2], it looks like only mgba-common contains "/usr/share/mgba/nointro.dat". I also see that the version number listed for mgba-qt is 0.6.0, which seems newer than the version in Ubuntu 17.04 (0.5.2+dfsg1-2build1). Is this installed from a PPA or similar? It might be a problem with those packages conflicting with the ones in the official archive. Could you please run `apt policy mgba-qt` in a terminal and post the output, this will tell us which version of the package is installed and where it came from? :) [1] https://packages.ubuntu.com/zesty/all/mgba-common/filelist [2] https://packages.ubuntu.com/zesty/all/mgba-common/filelist ** Changed in: mgba (Ubuntu) Status: New => Incomplete ** Tags added: package-conflict -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1705920 Title: package mgba-common (not installed) failed to install/upgrade: tentative de remplacement de « /usr/share/mgba/nointro.dat », qui appartient aussi au paquet mgba-qt 0.6.0 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/mgba/+bug/1705920/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
