So, this is fixed in artful-proposed, I can backport a patch if you find the
exact commit that fixes the issue.
Unfortunately changes are too huge to cherry-pick a fix, unless the original
author can tell us exactly where to look.
Hopefully my ppa can help you and we can forget this issue in some
months
