Binary package hint: grub
I own a HP Compaq 6710s with preinstalled Vista.
After I successfully installed Ubuntu 7.10 sometimes my computer freezes at
startup and all I can see is Grub stage 1.5, and it stays that way until I hard
restart... usually then it works but sometimes it happens again so I need to
hard reset several times to get to Grub menu.
Then again, sometimes everything works from the first attempt. What could be
causing this?
What information do you need in order to locate and fix this?
