*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1706713 ***
https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1706713
Public bug reported:
Each time my screen locks (via timeout or manually locking the screen),
I cannot unlock the screen because there is no Login-Prompt.
When the login prompt is missing, I can see the mouse-cursor, but
nothing else except a black background.
I've been having to hit CTRL-ALT-F2 to login via command line to reboot
before getting back to my desktop.
Someone else reported that rolling back to a previous kernel is a work-around:
https://askubuntu.com/questions/939707/
Hopefully, this can be fixed quickly enough to avoid such work-arounds?
