Steps to reproduce:
1. Run smartshine (preferably from a terminal)
2. Click the button to "add photos"
3. Select a random image
4. Click the "Save all button"
Expected behaviour:
The image is stored on disk. (There's a couple of options to manipulate the
image before storing it, but that is not neccessary to trigger the error)
Actual behaviour:
The application seems to load, but never finishes. The following error message
is printed in the terminal:

Due to bug 1702367, I am unable to test this on newer releases.
