Running Mint 18.1 Cinnamon 64bit on a HP p6710f configured as follows:
Atholn II X64 640 Quad Core 3Ghz
16gb RAM
1TB Crucial MX3000 grub, mint, home.
500gb Crucial MX200 Windows 10
2TB Western Digital spinner, extra storage and swap.
Nvidia GT730
Two Inateck pci-e usb 3.0 expansion cards
Realtek 8168E pci-e Gigabit (my motherboard's Realtek nic works fine but it's
just a 10/100).
Motherboard: N-Alvorix-RS880-uatx by Foxconn. AMD 785G Chipset, SATA II.

With FSlint-gui 2.44-2 that is in the repos, FSlint will scan for
duplicates and find them just fine however I cannot select files to
delete using the wildcard criteria, nor "all but oldest" nor "all but
newest. If you try, the gui just stares at you.

The only way to select files is "all but first." But, once you select
them and click on "delete" sometimes they will delete. Other times, the
gui just stares at you again for an extended period of time and does
nothing. I've interrupted this process several times by closing out
fslint and no harm was done - nothing selected had been deleted.

I uninstalled 2.44-2 and installed 2.45 from github. Same problem.

I then installed 2.42 from a Debian repo. With 2.42 I can select within
groups, but still cannot select using wildcard. I believe this to be a
Mint issue, rather than an FSlint issue because version 2.42 worked
perfectly fine on Mint 17-17.3.

** Affects: fslint (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
