Hi Ubuntu Bug Team,
Here we go - installed ubuntu 17.04 - fresh install - all ok - then installed updates on me laptop but after a week touchpad did not work - this is just to let you know - i have submitted an automatic bug report to you guys which ubuntu17.04 asked me to do. I am an IT consultant and got my touchpad working so no big deal - now my login screen has the wrong resolution - seems strange after months of ok no problem - then update (OS Security update) I start to get cosmetic problems. When I ran the command cat /proc/bus/input/devices there was no touchpad please close this as I have repaired my touchpad and log the fact that there are issues after an OS security update Kind regards On 03/08/17 22:30, Ubuntu Kernel Bot wrote: > This bug is missing log files that will aid in diagnosing the problem. > While running an Ubuntu kernel (not a mainline or third-party kernel) > please enter the following command in a terminal window: > > apport-collect 1708536 > > and then change the status of the bug to 'Confirmed'. > > If, due to the nature of the issue you have encountered, you are unable > to run this command, please add a comment stating that fact and change > the bug status to 'Confirmed'. > > This change has been made by an automated script, maintained by the > Ubuntu Kernel Team. > > ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) > Status: New => Incomplete > -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1708536 Title: touchpad on laptop not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/1708536/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
