Hi Ubuntu Bug Team,

Here we go - installed ubuntu 17.04 - fresh install - all ok - then
installed updates on me laptop but after a week touchpad did not work -
this is just to let you know - i have submitted an automatic bug report
to you guys which ubuntu17.04 asked me to do.

I am an IT consultant and got my touchpad working so no big deal - now
my login screen has the wrong resolution - seems strange after months of
ok no problem - then update (OS Security update) I start to get cosmetic
problems.

When I ran the command

  cat /proc/bus/input/devices

there was no touchpad

please close this as I have repaired my touchpad and log the fact that
there are issues after an OS security update

Kind regards
